Invictus is the new flagship from Singapore's Jomo Audio, and it brings together everything the brand knows about bass, detail, and build quality in one IEM. Two silk-diaphragm dynamic drivers handle the low end, eight balanced armatures cover the midrange and treble, and two solid-state MEMS drivers take care of the very top, all coordinated by a 6-way crossover. Housed in a CNC aerospace aluminum shell with a hand-finished, gold-plated brass faceplate inspired by luxury watchmaking, Invictus is made for listeners who want deep, physical bass, effortless treble, and an object that feels as special as it sounds.

MEMS Treble That Plugs Straight In

Electrostatic tweeters and early solid-state drivers usually need a dedicated energizer or bias box to work. Invictus does not. Its high-sensitivity MEMS drivers run straight from the headphone output of your DAP, dongle, or desktop amp, delivering airy, electrostatic-grade detail with nothing extra to carry. Each MEMS unit is fabricated in ISO-certified semiconductor cleanrooms in Taiwan, which gives sub-micron tolerances and tighter left-right matching than hand-assembled drivers can achieve. Dual ultra-thin silicon diaphragms move like rigid pistons, avoiding the roll-off of micro-planar tweeters and the metallic glare of piezo ceramic tweeters, while a CNC brass housing keeps the top end smooth and natural instead of sharp.

Bass With Weight, Speed, and Space

Instead of the usual isobaric or face-to-face layout, Jomo positions two silk-diaphragm dynamic drivers at a 90-degree angle to each other. This orthogonal arrangement reduces standing waves and turbulence, while silk's natural damping keeps bass textured and organic rather than metallic. Both drivers feed a rigid cylindrical chamber with a built-in acoustic low-pass filter and calibrated pressure-relief venting, so the low end stays clean and never bleeds into the mids. The result is deep sub-bass rumble, kick drums that hit and rebound quickly, and a sense of scale closer to a concert hall than a thump inside your head.

Eight Balanced Armatures, Each With a Job

Between the bass and the MEMS, eight balanced armatures are divided into three focused groups. Two midrange drivers give vocals and instruments natural chest resonance and body, so voices sound intimate and cellos sound full. A quad of mid-high drivers brings out micro-detail like the snap of guitar strings, the bite of brass, and the breath behind a vocal. Two high drivers bridge smoothly into the MEMS, adding cymbal shimmer and clarity without sibilance or fatigue. Vocals stay locked in the center with clean separation from the instruments around them, and the whole spectrum blends together with the coherence of a single driver.

GMAM: A Graphene-Reinforced Acoustic Core

At the heart of Invictus is GMAM (Graphene-Matrix Acoustic Monocoque), a 3D-printed structure made from a proprietary resin infused with graphene nanoplatelets. It is stiffer than standard IEM resin, absorbs internal vibration instead of passing it into the sound, and stays dimensionally stable through body heat and humidity. Because the sound paths and chambers are printed as one continuous piece, there are no silicone tubes, glue seams, or air leaks to smear the signal. You hear it as a pitch-black background, clean starts and stops, natural decay, and a stage that feels detached from the earpieces themselves.

Watch-Inspired Design, Built for Long Sessions

The shell is milled from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum on five-axis CNC machines, with sharp chamfers and a mix of blasted and hand-brushed surfaces that catch light like a watch bezel. The centerpiece is a gold-plated brass faceplate finished with traditional guilloché engraving, accented by mirror-polished exposed screws. The vents on the shell are functional, not decorative: they line up directly with the rear ports of the dynamic drivers to release air pressure, which reduces in-ear pressure buildup and lets the bass recover faster. Despite the metal construction and complex driver layout, the weight is balanced inward toward the ear for a stable, comfortable fit over long listening sessions.

The Dominor Stock Cable

Invictus ships with The Dominor, a cable built from 7N OCC single-crystal copper drawn in Taiwan, terminated in 4.4mm balanced with gold-plated 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The ultra-flexible clear PVC jacket, imported from the United States, shows off the copper underneath, resists tangling and stiffening over time, and keeps cable noise to a minimum.
