Highlights: Similar to the FUGAKU shell design, with over-the-ear adjustable-angle earhooks to maximize comfort and security during extended listening sessions and on the go; Grade 5 alloy Titanium 6-4 shells with PVD coating. Premium Brise Audio cable based on AKAGANE-35 high-purity copper wire with P-ear connectors.  A W-shaped, balanced sound signature with a clear, detailed, natural tonality, and high-res upper frequencies, standing out with a very powerful, deep bass, natural, detailed mids, and clear, resolving treble, and a holographic level of imaging.

Impressions:

After debuting at the CanJam NYC ’26 show as BEP-001 prototype, Brise Audio is finally ready to unleash their follow-up to the infamous FUGAKU audio system, this time, in a standalone high-res IBUKI IEMs that can be used with any cable and any DAP/DAC/amp source.  Giving you a taste of the FUGAKU tuning at a more affordable price, these new flagship IEMs feature a balanced sound signature with a speaker-like, deep, powerful bass you won’t believe is coming from IEMs; natural, tastefully colored mids with balanced note weight; and crystal-clear, high-res treble that takes a small step down from FUGAKU to deliver a more natural upper frequencies tonality.  While the tuning of these IEMs was optimized for their popular WATATSUMI amp to deliver maximum performance, they still pair well with many DAPs and even some dongles. However, you have to be aware that IBUKI likes more power and could be sensitive to eartips selection, especially when it comes to its treble tuning.  We are pleased to note that Brise Audio took all the feedback from CanJam and other audio shows to fine-tune their original BEP-001 prototype to the next level of enhancement while still retaining the essential core tuning that made their ultimate FUGAKU audio system famous.
