Impressions:
At its entry-level price, the Genesis G318s offers outstanding value with a tuning that can compete with higher-priced IEMs. It has balanced sound and a smooth, natural tonality, with a lift in sub-bass to give the low end more weight and deeper rumble. It gives vocals a natural coloring with plenty of clarity and texture, and has a natural, non-fatiguing treble. We found it does a great job with music genres that benefit from extra bass weight, less clinical sound, and more natural detail retrieval and treble extension. As long as you are not looking for a neutral bass or more analytical detail retrieval, Genesis is a very engaging budget-friendly all-rounder with a natural organic tonality and enhanced low-end emphasis.
