Impressions:
This latest flagship from FlipEars takes the Arsenal collection release to the next level, offering well-executed W-shaped balanced dynamic tuning that benefits from a bigger bore opening eartips. The 10mm carbon diaphragm DD is complemented with an EarQuake Bone Conductor driver to add weight and rumble with multi-layered dimension, giving it a more bouncy, fuller presence. The mids are cleanly layered and well separated, slightly laid back with restrained body, delivering natural detail retrieval down to the micro level without tipping into analytical territory. The treble is crisp and airy with good extensions, revealing plenty of detail without ever sounding harsh. The tuning is on the revealing side but remains a solid all-rounder, pairing clean, non-fatiguing micro-detail with a full, powerful bass response that stays well controlled.
