AROMA Audio — “CORE”
From the brand’s inception, ten years have passed. To mark this milestone, AROMA Audio set out to create a work that embodies its decade-long journey. The result is the 10th-anniversary masterpiece: CORE.
Over the past few years, AROMA Audio has continuously developed and released ultra-flagship IEMs. At the same time, we kept asking ourselves whether it was possible to go beyond the concept of an “ultra-flagship.” In this exploration, we turned our focus to combining two ideas—IEM and portable amplifier—and from this fusion, CORE was born.
AROMA Audio CORE consists of two parts: the CORE IEM and the amplifier-integrated cable known as “White Tiger.” Together, they fully express AROMA Audio’s relentless pursuit of sound quality and its innovative craftsmanship.
Visually, CORE adopts an all-new faceplate design made from titanium alloy. From both a manufacturing and acoustic perspective, we believe this new metal faceplate brings further sonic possibilities. The AROMA Audio logo and the CORE logo are engraved on the left and right sides, respectively.
The "Core" case also adopts a 3D printing design, maintaining a CM-like shape and preserving the consistent wearing comfort and stability.
CORE features a driver configuration of 6 electrostatic (EST) drivers, 6 balanced armature (BA) drivers, and 2 × 9.2 mm dynamic drivers (DD). Drawing on the development experience of ultra-flagship models such as Jewel and FEIWAN, we reintegrated technologies from across our lineup to create a more innovative sonic presentation.
The CORE cable, “White Tiger,” this time we have innovatively created an IEM cable that integrates a "portable amplifier". It still adopts a 2-pin and 4.4mm design, but there is an aluminum alloy shell amplifier on the cable (it needs to be charged and powered on before it can be used). This was specially designed considering the driving difficulty of "Core".
“White Tiger” is an active cable system and a dedicated driver solution specifically designed for "Core" headphones. The amplification circuit of "White Tiger" is matched with the parasitic inductance and capacitance of the cable, which can better adapt to the transmission characteristics of the cable and reduce losses and interference. The unique amplification circuit architecture of "White Tiger" has been specifically optimized for the composite impedance characteristics of the "Core" unit and the crossover, serving as a dedicated buffer between the headphones and the front-end equipment. Users no longer need to consider impedance matching additionally, nor need to address the issues of insufficient or excessive thrust simultaneously.
Whether it is CORE itself or the “White Tiger” cable, AROMA Audio has employed entirely new technologies and creative ideas. All of this is dedicated to crafting the most powerful technological statement in AROMA Audio’s history—CORE—a proud expression of the sound AROMA Audio has pursued over the past ten years.
The "White Tiger" cable uses the G-UPOCC (graphene-reinforced single crystal oxygen-free copper) with a 26 AWG Litz 4S structure, and adopts Absolute Shielding Technology to shield the cable conductor itself, which can minimize the interference of sound. Let you experience the best sound.
