Head-fi review: A very special King
Like the title says, this absolutely drop-dead gorgeous set of IEMs is the most natural and effortless set I have heard to date. Included with the Temple cable, I cannot believe my ears!
Speaking of ears, I thought that the size would be a problem initially, but I trust BGVP to make a well-fitting set, as the Phantom SE is could be worn for hours!
I have listened and played a few games for roughly 4 hours and have yet to have any fit issues and have been blasting many different genres comparing them to my 64 Audio U4S and FF Deuce. The bass on the Solomon is incredibly satisfying, both in quantiy and quality. The mids are lush, warm, full-bodied, and separated wonderfully! The treble gives just enough sparkle to make details pop without even scratching the surface of sibilants, which says a lot because my ears are not a fan of overdone treble.
Overall, the unboxing experience is unlike anything I've ever seen, the audio quality is exceptional (especially for the price), and the fit is something I was not expecting to be complimenting, but I have to give them credit!
BGVP absolutely NAILED IT!!! Congratulations to them and their incredibly well-made IEM. I am truly blessed to be able to listen to and own this beautiful set!
And thank you to MusicTeck for getting it to me so quickly! You all are absolute rock stars!
The iem is really good, nice bass, ok mids, a decent soundstage, and imaging. Where it lacks is that it can be sharp and sibilant with the tips that it comes with at medium high volume depending on the song or video. This sucks too, because I've found this to be the most holographic iem I've heard yet with its bass tips, but the treble is too much for me at times. Would highly suggest that anyone treble sensitive to stay away from this one, unless you have the tips or source that can tone it down a bit.
This set is incredible. The bass is some of deepest, most textured I have ever heard from an IEM. Combined with vast staging and excellent layering and imaging, it punches way above its price class, yet it's still balanced and warm enough to listen to all day. It's quickly become my go-to travel set because it just transports me (and that bass slays no matter the ambient noise). I think other IEM makers need to take notice of what can be done for sub-$2K

The most well balanced IEMs I've ever tried. Satisfying tight bass, sparkling treble, crystal clear soud. Very very good!
I don't understand how you can get totl pwaudio shielding for this price.
The black background is immediately perceptible, palpable, and delightful.
I own cables at and above it's price and this stands out. It pairs with the UM mest jet black very well.
The imaging feels a cut above, sounds come from the abyss, and still have texture. I was worried it would overly smooth the highs but they still have defined edges and articulation.
Bass has depth & weight, the mids aren't shoved in your face. The biggest surprise is how detailed it is, I still get the micro detail I love, now set against the blackest background I've experienced.
*I was also worried about the ergonomics and yes it is a bit stiff due to the shielding, but I could go for a walk and didn't notice it at all, it's still soft, light, and doesn't move your iems while you're moving like some cables do.
Best $300 I've spent in the hobby so far, getting to hear proper shielding at this price is an insane value imo.
Leather case fits perfectly, good quality
