In 2016, “ZEN,” the very first super soft and pure OCC copper upgrade cable, launched in the marketplace, won many positive comments, and earned a reputation. The following pure copper cables, “ZENTOO,” “ZENTOO Plus,” and “ARTONA,” were also presented to the market accordingly. The fifth pure OCC upgrade cable, “QUENTIN,” is also born to the market now.

Quentin stands for the meaning of “the fifth” in Roman culture. Simultaneously, it also symbolized the appearance of HanSound’s fifth pure OCC copper upgrade cable. Compared to the structure of pure copper cable in the past with Quentin, the biggest difference is that the entire design is mainly based on a coaxial structure. Additionally, graphene is applied to weave and fabricate the shielding to block the noise.

Quentin extended the weaving design of one-way dot in different color for Torfa, which was announced in 2019, and adopted same as Artona complicated “asymmetrical interleave weaving” and had the pattern of triple silver dots and one purple dot to decorate the black background. The external appearance is a low-key luxury and is good to match any color earphones. It also protects flexible plastic insulation in an inner layer from encountering the air and generating oxidation and attached grease, prolonging the service life of the cable material.

Quentin is in multi-strand of OCC Litz coaxial structure, and the conductor is assembled in three sizes of OCC. Such a design can effectively enhance signal transmission stability and the sense of layering sound. The positive electrodes were made by applying two thicker conductors and using DuPont Hytrel Elastomer insulation, which allowed the conductor to possess the excellent function of fatigue resistance and shock absorption. The negative electrodes adopt a superfine conductor proceeding stellated twist and twine the positive electrode; this strengthens and secures the accuracy of sound transmission and also enables the maximum bandwidth of cable material, along with the layer of the shield made up by the weaving with the high conductibility of graphene, the tranquility of the background levels up further without adding any burden to the user.
